50 Years Later
2D Arcade Casual Game made for the fiftieth anniversary of the Apollo XI mission.
About the game
I made the first level of this game in less than 48 hours as a tribute for the fiftieth anniversary of the Moon Landing. Then, weeks later, I decided to add some levels and publish it as a simple browser game. In this game the player controls the NASA lunar lander as it's trying to land on the moon surface. Your objective is to land on the right spot on the moon (the red circle) without crashing on walls, on the floor or on the asteroids flying on the screen.

- Browser (currently tested on Firefox and Google Chrome)

How to play
- Press the Right and Left keys on your keyboard to rotate the lander.
- Hold Spacebar to fire the propellers
- Pay attention to the gasoline level on the top-left corner of the screen: if it goes down to zero, you will not be able to fly anymore!
- Get to the red circle on the ground without crasing against the floor, the walls or the asteroids.
- Press R to restart a level.
- Press F or the button on the screen to make the game fullscreen, and press M or the button on the screen to mute or unmute all the game sounds.
How to install
You can just play it on the itch.io page. If you want to install it locally, anyway, follow these instructions. Download the right version from the itch.io page according to your operating system and/or your system architecture. Export the compressed archive in a directory of your choice, making sure that the .pkg and the executable are on the same folder. Just double click on the executable and enjoy the game!
